Description
Owner of Anysbos Johan Heyns was a lawyer and filmmaker before turning his hand to farming in 2007. He found talented winemaker Marelise Niemann, who makes fabulous Grenache-based wines in the farms small, rustic cellars. The 2020-vintage was wild-fermented with whole, partially stemmed, bunches of Grenache Noir, Shiraz and Cinsault grapes. The result is a pleasantly dry wine with mineral complexity and notes of rose and white pepper.
