Description
Claiming the title of Ireland’s First Peated Rye, this limited single-cask release whisky from Blackwater is made with 55% Irish rye, 31% malted barley, 9% oats and 5% peated malt mash bill. Distilled in June 2020 and fully matured in an ex-Ribera del Duoro wine cask from Northern Spain, the whisky offers notes of damson jam, warm rye toast, Opal Fruits and a whiff of pipe smoke on the palate.
