Description
An impressively aged release from Signatory’s Old School Malts series, this 50 year old single malt has been matured in an Oloroso sherry butt before being bottled from a single cask at 43.1% ABV. Presented in a striking Ibisco decanter with a black presentation tube, it’s a whisky that combines serious age with elegant packaging.
After five decades in cask, this exceptional dram captures windswept shores with sherry richness. Briny notes dance with dried fruits and dark chocolate, while citrus and sea salt cut through like an ocean breeze. A balanced malt with a long, saline finish, delivering waves of sherry sweetness, delicate peat and oak that’ll transport you to rugged cliffs above crashing seas.
