Description
Les Tourelles is the spectacular second wine of the majestic 2nd growth Château Pichon-Longueville Baron in Pauillac. Named after the Château’s towers Les Tourelles features predominantly Merlot in the blend giving it a seductive, velvety character. Cabernet makes up 40% of the final wine and together with the Merlot they offer classic Pauillac flavours of cassis, earthy tobacco and plum. This wine is drinking beautifully now but can happily be cellared for a decade or more from the vintage.
The Estate was founded in 1694 and counts 1st Growth Château Latour amongst its neighbours. It has been owned by AXA Millésimes Group since 1987.
