Product description
Offley is an excellent port house mainly known for its Quinta Boa Vista vineyard, meaning ‘Beautiful View Vineyard’, one of the most famous in the Douro valley. Its reputation grew under Joseph Forrester’s ownership, who is also known for mapping the upper regions of the Douro Valley.
Deep and elegant with confit fruits and silky tannins.
‘This is the best modern vintage of Offley I have tasted. Wonderful aromas of plums, chocolate and flowers follow through to a full-bodied palate with chewy tannins and a long rich finish. Punchy red. Best after 2010.” – 92 pts, the Wine Spectator, February 2003
