Bernard Bouvier is now managing Regis’ estate (his brother). Following organic principles, Bernard focuses on producing excellent value wine from Marsannay, an under rated appellation and the northern appellation of the Côtes de Nuits. His reds have silky and delicate tannins while his whites are full of verve.
Aged for 12 months in barrel (20% new oak) this is robust, full, and gamey with wild raspberry, strawberry and floral notes –a great match with stronger flavoured meat dishes.
