The Burger and Morkel families released the first Roodekrantz wines in 2015. Committed to preserving ancient Certified Old Vine Heritage Vineyards, they work closely with their growers, encouraging respectful and sustainable vineyard practices. No new oak ensures the quality of the fruit and terroir shine through in every bottle.
The Roodekrantz Donkermaan Chenin Blanc is a seriously expressive single vineyard wine with open aromas of white pear, apple and hints of white pepper. The palate is vibrant with a real richness of fruit concentration leading to a wonderfully long finish. A complex and hugely rewarding Chenin Blanc from The Cape.
