Hoffmann & Rathbone is a boutique winery located in the picturesque village of Mountfield, East Sussex. Run by husband and wife team Ulrich Hoffmann and Birgit Rathbone, their wines tell a story of a love and passion for craft and artistry in winemaking. Ulrich’s experience and expertise allow him to create very small quantities of ultra-premium, modern sparkling wine, using traditional methods, aged for long periods, with care and patience.
Nice rich nose, showing lovely development of fruit, mouth-wateringly apricot driven. Palate is attractive, mineral and yeasty.
