Appleton Estate 12 Year Old Rare Blend is a beautifully crafted aged rum from one of Jamaica’s most historic distilleries. This premium expression is a masterful combination of pot and column still rums, all aged for a minimum of 12 years in oak casks in the tropical climate of Jamaica.
Tasting Notes
Nose: Rich and complex with aromas of toasted oak, dried apricots, orange peel, cocoa, and molasses.
Palate: Full-bodied with deep notes of nutmeg, vanilla, coffee, and a touch of brown sugar. Hints of spice and oak are perfectly balanced by a warm, buttery mouthfeel.
Finish: Long, smooth, and elegant with lingering notes of oak, spice, and bittersweet orange.
