Description
A mature rum from Australia’s oldest producer, boasting tropical notes of lychee and caramelised pineapple, over candied nuts, and woody spices. This expression was aged in ex-bourbon and new American oak barrels as well as Australian brandy casks for a minimum of 10 years. Though Australian rum may not be as well known around the world as its counterparts from the Caribbean, rum has been made there for centuries. If you want to explore this fascinating distilling tradition, Beenleigh’s XO Rare Rum is a fantastic place to start.
