Grusse might ring a bell or two if you like highly allocated Jura. Home to Kenjiro Kagami and also home to a plot behind one of my favourite bottles from Mr Ganevat, who happens to be the mentor to Mr Guadagnolo. Small world. Anyway, this feels the broader of the pair, the fruit a little riper but still with plenty of vitality. Orchard fruits aplenty, a healthy lick of salinity, so much energy on show. Can’t wait to see this in a few years. Will be hard to keep my hands off.
