Description
Place: Colli Eugane, Italy
Grape: Sauvignon Blanc
Vibe: Vibrant
Sauvignon Blanc is not inherently evil, despite what you might think. This is a case-in-point example of the lofty heights the grape can reach when given a bit of TLC.
De-stemmed before a five-day maceration, then into cask, bottled without additions. Golden fruited and in no way green, almost rich before a cleansing vein of acid and a tea-like grip. Just a hint of something floral and herbal too. Wow. I could, and plan to, drink this all summer long. Crown cap is merely for our convenience.
