The Glenfarclas distillery in Speyside is renowned for maturing its single malts in sherry casks. This bottling from the 1980s showcases the distillery’s distinctive style, with rich notes of sweet dried fruits and spices reminiscent of Christmas cake.
The Grant family acquired the distillery in 1865 and it has remains one of the few old family-owned whisky distilleries in Scotland to this day. Currently in its fifth generation of ownership, Glenfarclas distillery continues to produce high-quality whisky.
