Description
Glenfarclas 105 is one of the leading cask-strength releases in the industry – a classic of its type.
The Glenfarclas 105 is a beloved cask strength offering renowned for its robust character and festive flavours. Named after its British proof, which equates to a potent 60% ABV, this expression is celebrated for its rich Christmas-inspired profile. With roots dating back to the 1960s, when Glenfarclas introduced its first cask strength whisky, the 105 has become a cornerstone of the distillery’s lineup.
Although it carries no age statement, it’s believed to have matured for 8-10 years in a blend of sherry and bourbon casks. Despite its high alcohol content, it remains remarkably approachable, with a splash of water unlocking a symphony of sweet and spicy notes. Truly a magnificent single malt, particularly suited for the winter season.
