Description
This bold, rich whisky by Japanese producer Kanosuke has been produced with a mixture of malted and unmalted barley distilled at sister distillery Hioki, the birthplace of the vaunted Mellowed Kozuru shochu and the predecessor of Kanosuke. The resultant whisky is matured in ex-bourbon barrels as well as new American oak casks. Expect a luscious, aromatic and full-bodied character that belies its youth.
