Description
This Kilkerran 8 Year Old is a cask strength release from Glengyle Distillery in Campbeltown, matured exclusively in bourbon casks for its full eight years. This 2026 release has been bottled at 57.7% ABV, it continues the distillery’s well established tradition of high quality, small batch cask strength releases. The use of 100% bourbon cask maturation brings a creamy, rounded character to the spirit, complementing Kilkerran’s naturally oily and coastal style. As with previous cask strength editions from Glengyle, this release is bottled without chill filtration and with natural colour, allowing the whisky to be enjoyed exactly as it comes from the cask.
A consistently strong series from one of Campbeltown’s most respected distilleries, and another release that will be keenly followed by Kilkerran fans.
