Description
This is a rare opportunity to taste a mature single malt from the now lost 18th century producer Linlithgow – also known as St Magdalene. Distilled in 1982, it was initially matured in ex-bourbon casks before being finished in top quality cognac barrels, resulting in a hugely complex profile. You can expect fresh notes of lemongrass and grapefruit peel, leading to a touch of juniper, meadowsweet, and a warm, peppery finish.
