Peterson Arklow Sandblasted 230 Pipe

Description

The Peterson Arklow Sandblasted 230 Pipe brings together Peterson’s unmistakable shaping, practical comfort and the rugged elegance of the Arklow finish. A compact bent Billiard, the 230 offers a distinctive take on a traditional shape, combining classic pipe proportions with the robust character that has long defined Peterson.

Unlike more cylindrical Billiard designs, the 230 features a gently tapered and rounded bowl, creating a softer silhouette while retaining the strong shank and transition associated with the Irish marque. Its compact size makes it an excellent everyday pipe, offering a comfortable feel in the hand while being particularly suited to relaxed clenching and travel.

Originally released as a limited edition before becoming part of Peterson’s standard collection, the Arklow series showcases Peterson’s artisan-style sandblasting process. This finish highlights the natural grain and texture of the briar, creating a rugged yet refined appearance. The warm walnut-toned stain enhances the depth of the sandblast, while the nickel army mount adds both durability and visual contrast. A classic fishtail stem completes the traditional design.

Crafted in Ireland from quality briar, the Peterson Arklow 230 is a versatile and dependable smoker’s pipe. With its comfortable proportions, practical shape and distinctive rustic finish, it is a fine example of Peterson’s ability to combine heritage, craftsmanship and everyday usability.
