Tabalí Talinay Chardonnay is a strikingly pure and mineral‑driven white wine sourced from one of Chile’s most distinctive coastal terroirs. Grown in the Talinay vineyard, just a few kilometres from the Pacific Ocean, the vines are rooted in ancient limestone soils rarely found in Chile. The combination of cool maritime breezes, morning fog and exceptional calcareous geology allows the grapes to ripen slowly, developing tension, precision and remarkable aromatic clarity. Production
Grapes are hand‑harvested in the cool early hours to preserve freshness, then sorted meticulously before gentle pressing. Fermentation takes place at controlled temperatures, with a portion of the wine aged in French oak barrels and the rest in stainless steel to balance texture and purity. Extended ageing on fine lees enhances complexity, mouthfeel and mineral definition, resulting in a Chardonnay of exceptional refinement and tension.
Tasting Notes
Pale gold in colour, the wine opens with lifted aromas of citrus blossom, lemon zest, white peach and subtle toasted notes. The palate is taut, vibrant and beautifully structured, offering layers of citrus, stone fruit and delicate creaminess supported by a pronounced mineral backbone. A distinctive saline edge runs through the wine, leading to a long, precise and refreshing finish.
